DDB Dubai has been awarded the advertising account for Turkish dairy brand Pinar following a multi-agency pitch. Following the assignment of the business to DDB, the general manager of the group’s regional office HDF FZCO, Arda Cenk Tokbas, said: “Pinar was the first brand to introduce Turkish labneh to the GCC 30 years ago and is both the market leader and the most well-known labneh brand. With our creative agency DDB Dubai, we believe that we can take our brand even further. Through this marketing campaign, we aim to highlight how original and unique Pinar labneh’s taste is.”
Commenting on the win, CEO Middle East, DDB Dubai, Hubert Boulos, said: “Pinar is a much-loved brand that’s found in hundreds of thousands of kitchens across Turkey and the GCC, and we’re delighted to be working with them. We look forward to a great partnership as we seek to increase Pinar’s profile and market share even further.”
The new campaign will kick off with a TVC that focuses on how Pinar’s original taste can make all the difference to a dish – a taste that hasn’t changed for more than 30 years, a statement said.
Further, DDB also announced that Valiant Clinic, a premium multi-specialty outpatient clinic – and Meraas’ entry into the healthcare sector – has chosen DDB Dubai as its agency of record.
This is yet another feather in the agency’s new business cap. Valiant Clinic brings the concept and philosophy of preventive healthcare to the region. Valiant has tapped into DDB’s Dubai creative and strategic thinking to bring to life their communication platform of The Future of Healthcare Today. Commenting on the agency relationship with Valiant Clinic, Boulos said: “What Valiant Clinic is bringing to the market is truly unique and futuristic. What excited us most at DDB is the fact that we were allowed to lay the foundations of such an amazing project from the initial strategic thinking and into the future.” Valiant Clinic is headquartered at CITY WALK Dubai and has opened its doors to the public at the beginning of this month.
